"The Pause"| Comma Necklace

Alison Wonderland Jewelry

  • $ 25.99

This pendant necklace of nickel silver features a comma, and the word "pause." There are many controversies relating to the comma (Oxford comma, anyone?) but all grammar fans, writers, and other members of the grammar police will agree that a comma indicates a pause.

This necklace reminds you  to take a breath, a brief pause --  before diving back into the full sentence, or even the next chapter of your life. This is a necklace for a writer, a teacher, a poet - any word lover who does too much.

Also pictured is The Pause necklace's sister, The Subject-Predicate necklace.

  • Dimensions: This handmade pendant is just under an inch in diameter, slightly smaller than a U.S quarter. The chain is 16 inches, a choker on many, or pendant length of 18 to 20 inches. Please indicate your preferred length below.
  • Materials and Methods: The pendant is made from nickel silver, and so it is not appropriate for anyone with a nickel allergy. The comma is made from copper. The pendant is hand-stamped, so please expect pleasing variations in letter placement. The chain is made from red brass, which has been darkened with a torch --  and it has a lobster claw clasp.
